Hot Glue
Does hot glue hold a bond even when submerged in water?
I am going to make floating candle centerpieces and I am planning on using hot glue to attach fake flowers to the bottom of a glass bowl and then fill it with water with floating candles on the top.
Does hot glue keep a bond under water, or does anyone know of any other clear adhesives I could use that would hold?
The Hot Melt glue should work fine for this. I believe that it should be waterproof. They have several “specialty” hot melt glues now, so you may want to inquire about the waterproof hot melt glue. You should also be able to re-heat the glue and dismantle your decorations after they have been used if you desire. Good luck!
